About us

BHP is a recognised leader in the management of franchised branded hotels in the Slovak Republic. We provide exceptional service to guests and deliver outstanding performance and results for hotel owners. As hotel operators, we manage hotels from internationally recognised and respected brand names in the hospitality industry, including The Luxury Collection, Sheraton, Crowne Plaza and Double Tree by Hilton.

At the same time, BHP is an active international investor in the hotel industry. As a hotel owner with presence in different markets such as Bratislava, London and Moscow, we have deepened our broad management experience. With inspiration gained from operating in different markets and working with various hotel operators, we deliver value to hotel owners by implementing current trends in service concepts, sales and revenue strategies, and through increasing the efficiency of service processes while exceeding the client’s expectations.

We perceive our ownership of hotels worldwide as well as in Slovakia as a major added value in providing third-party hotel management and development services. We are an operator with an owner’s mindset and the objectives of hotel owners are our key priority.

Our story

BHP was founded in 2009 and since then has been investing in the European hotel industry. BHP provides a platform for a collection of premium and luxury hotel properties in order to maximise the synergies that stem from group ownership. The platform represents a dynamically growing portfolio of irreplaceable “trophy assets" in unique locations. As of 2014, BHP began to manage both some of their own hotels and those of other hotel owners. The trigger for this step was the conversion of several hotels from a management agreement to a franchise agreement in order to improve their results in challenging markets, where local knowledge and experience was the key to success.
